About Ledin Engineering

The listings below contain information from Ledin Engineering partner companies that market simulation-related products.

MATLAB/Simulink

Simulink is a powerful graphical simulation tool for modeling nonlinear dynamic systems and developing control strategies. With support for linear, nonlinear, continuous-time, discrete-time, multirate, conditionally executed, and hybrid systems, Simulink lets you model and simulate virtually any type of real-world dynamic system. Using the powerful simulation capabilities in Simulink, you can create models, evaluate designs, and correct design flaws—before building prototypes.

MATLAB is a software tool from the The MathWorks, Inc. that provides a command-line environment and graphical tools for performing numerical analysis with emphasis on vector/matrix manipulations. MATLAB includes an extensive set of graphing tools for creating 2-D and 3-D plots. To use any of the other products available from the MathWorks, MATLAB is required as a basis.

Simulink is an add-on to MATLAB that provides the ability to develop and execute dynamic system simulations in a block diagram environment. Real Time Workshop is an add-on to Simulink that takes a simulation block diagram and generates equivalent C or Ada language code suitable for use in a HIL simulation or in an embedded processor.

Applied Dynamics International

Applied Dynamics International provides state-of-the art software and hardware tools to the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries for the design and test of embedded control systems. ADI tools provide advanced capabilities in real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation, rapid prototyping of ECUs, and embedded controller software development.

ADI products include VME-based simulation computer systems and a full software environment for developing and executing simulations. Supported processors include Motorola PowerPC and 68K series CPUs. Supported programming languages are ADSIM, C, FORTRAN as well as Simulink and EASY5.
